Clarification on IDU/IDSA

I had previously written a blog entry quoting some research results by a competition organizer who was heavily involved with the WDC for many years (see "IDSF vs IDU and IDSA" from September 26, 2006). This morning I received an E-mail from someone in Germany who provided valuable new insight to that report and I wanted to share this information with readers of this blog.

Dancing to the tunes of Christmas

While I love the Christmas season and everything that goes with it, I must admit that dance music and Christmas don't go together all that well. There are a few strict-tempo dance albums created especially for Christmas, but most of them are pretty awful. I'll attempt to provide my thoughts on what works on the dance floor in the Christmas music genre. You may agree or disagree.

Christmas gifts for dancers

What do you get the person who is light on their feet? Competitive dancers have learned to measure everything in terms of "how many lessons" it costs, so even the small things might be set aside to pay for dance expenses.
